Moda Coming Home
Coming Home is a new fabric collection by Deb Strain, for Moda fabrics and is inspired by the designer’s travels in Mid-West USA.
There is a lovely panel piece which features different pictures of barns, plus farmyard inspired fabric designs available by the metre and in jelly rolls. I loved the detail in the panel pictures.. the quilts hanging on the lines, the sheep in the fields… It’s very cute.

Moda Etchings Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs and Layer Cakes
Etchings is a new collection for Moda fabrics by 3 Sisters. This collection captures some French elegance with its botanical designs that contrast with the delicate lines on architectural prints derived from an antique book the Sisters acquired on one of their many flea market jaunts.
At the moment we have the jelly rolls, charm packs and layer cakes in stock. Some of prints will be available to buy by the metre soon.

Moda Fabric – Little Apples
Little Apples is a new collection by Aneela Hoey for Moda Fabric.
Autumn is coming and in this fabric you can see the little apples are falling off the trees and spied by a tortoise who has momentarily peeked out from under his shell and decided to take a stroll. Children are playing as the leaves are swirling around on the wind, providing a brilliantly coloured backdrop to all the goings on, the beauty of Autumn is definitely here in these bright and colourful fabrics.
Available individually or in a cute bundle of 5 fat quarters.

Moda Fa La La La La by French General
This year’s Christmas fabrics from Moda have started to arrive, the first one being Fa La La La La by French General, which is certain to be a hit with French General fans.
The Fa La La La collection from French General is filled with classic reds and greys with a touch of the old world green. Hand written letters with the lyrics to the French song Fa La La La La, is the theme and gives this collection a particularly festive look. Rural French florals and branches make this group perfect for a warm winter quilt or stocking or two.
We have jelly rolls, charm packs, layer cakes and a large selection of the fabrics available by the metre.

Grace by 3 Sisters
Grace is the latest collection from fabric designers 3 Sisters. The hearth’s aglow with rich, warm fireside tones reminiscent of cinnamon and cocoa. Delicate rosebuds and blossoms alongside elegant paisleys and flourishing roses make this collection a classic to be cherished for years to come.

Advent Calendars and Christmas Stocking Panels
I know that Summer is only just arriving, but this year’s Advent calendars and Christmas Stocking panels from Makower are in stock and already selling. Some people are getting very organised with their Christmas projects!
The 2011 advent calendars are probably my favourite designs to date. Firstly there is the train advent calendar:
and for the little girls, a beautiful angel advent calendar:
Each advent calendar is easy to construct with pockets to sew on to store treats and sweets for each day. Instructions are printed on the panel.
And even easier to make is the Christmas stocking, using this panel piece. You can either make one stocking with the Santa one side and the snowman the other, or two stockings, each backed with some different Christmas fabric.

Lilac Hill from Moda
Lilac Hill is a pretty collection by Brannock and Patek for Moda and we have in stock what we believe are the nicest designs from this fabric collection. I love the purples and the robins are very cute too!
Lilac Hill fabrics would work very well with the Days in Provence quilt by House on the Hill.
