We’re delighted to announce the first series of knitting workshops to be held in our new showroom/workshop room.

Continental Knitting on Tuesday 15th June 2010

Learn how to knit continental style with Anniken Allis.  The continental way of knitting is faster and more efficient than most English styles. In this workshop you will learn how to carry your yarn in your left hand and knit and purl continental style, as well as continental long-tail cast on and Norwegian purl.  Suitable for all knitters, apart from complete beginners.

Professional Finishing Techniques on Saturday 10th July 2010

It is often the finishing details that make the difference to a garment and this workshop, led by Claire Crompton, will show you techniques to make sure your garment has a professional finish.  Suitable for all knitters.

All workshops run from 10am – 4pm and lunch and refreshments are included.

I’d like to organise some knitting workshops at our premises in South Devon. Cost would be about £30-40 which would include lunch and all materials.  If you fancy coming to any, then let me know what topics you’d be interested in and I’ll see what I can arrange!
