Rowan Studio 26 is out now
We’ve got so many new pattern books to tell you about from Rowan, Debbie Bliss, Sublime and more… The first of which is Rowan Studio 26.
The eight patterns in Studio 26 are designed by Rowan designer Julia Frank and are inspired by the trend for tweed and relaxed, easy to wear, slouchy designs.

Rowan supports Wool Week with an exclusive online collection – British Sheep Breeds Homeware, using their 100% British Wool. This collection celebrates Wool Week, which starts on the 11th October 2010. The collection comprises of 10 designs of cushions, throws, mats and hot water bottle covers.

Nordic Knits by Martin Storey
Nordic Knits by Martin Storey is a collection of 25 accessories and home projects in Rowan’s natural wool and cotton yarns.
Inspired by traditional Scandinavian colourwork and stitch patterns, it has a stylish contemporary feel, with great designs including hats and scarves, waistcoats and shrugs plus cushions throws and bags.
I think this book is fab! There are just so many projects that I’d like to do, the first being the red and white cushion on the front cover. Here are a few more of my favourites:

Rowan Studio 21 Preview
If you’ve not seen it yet, then you might be interested in the preview photos from the next Rowan Studio pattern book – Rowan Studio 21.
With inspiration from 1950′s icons, Studio 21′s theme is desirable staples. Established stitch details in sophisticated colours using Cashsoft 4ply, DK and Baby Alpaca Cotton DK yarns combined with sleek urban silhouettes and modern details make these designs both fresh and timeless.

Twilleys Freedom Purity – NEW!
