Rico Superba Poems Sock Yarn

The colours in Rico’s Creative Poems Aran yarn, reminiscent of some Noro yarns, are much admired by knitters and now you can have those same bright colour changes in a new sock yarn – Superba Poems.

One 100g ball should be enough to knit a pair of socks.

Regia Hand Dye Effect Sock Yarn and New Pattern Book

I had a delivery today which included some Regia Hand Dye Effect Sock Yarn plus a brand new pattern booklet to accompany the yarn.

The Regia Hand-Dye Effect sock yarn is a soft 4 ply yarn which has been dyed using a technique which gives it a hand dyed appearance as the gorgeous saturated colours blend into each other.

The pattern booklet, Regia Journal 608, has just been published and contains 12 patterns specifically for this yarn, although you could easily substitute another 4 ply yarn if you preferred.

So if you’re still feeling the chill, why not whip up something to keep you warm and cozy.

Just ask if you want to know the yarn requirements for a particular pattern.

Harry Potter sock yarn

Have you seen Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince yet?  I went at the weekend and loved it!  I particularly liked the reference Dumbledore made to knitting – look out for it if you’re going to see the movie!

If you’re a Harry Potter fan too, then you might fancy knitting a pair of socks with this special Harry Potter sock yarn.

Opal worked closely with Warner Bros. to create a sock yarn line that commemorates the release of the “Half-Blood Prince” movie and the colours are inspired by the main characters.

Supplies of the Harry Potter sock is limited and we don’t have much left.  A free basic sock pattern is included in all sock yarn purchases and you only need one ball to make a pair of adult sized socks.
