The curve on the open side of the safety pin makes the action of basting the quilt much easier, as the bottom of the curve sits on the wrong side of the quilt and the point naturally comes back up to the right side.

Made by Hemline from hardened and tempered steel. The pins come in a handy box with lid for safe storage.
