Lace Blocking Wires Kit - UK Delivery Only

The purpose of blocking your knitted masterpiece is to uncurl and form your work to enhance the beauty of the garment you created. The wire blocking kit will make your blocking experience faster, easier and more enjoyable without the scalloped edges you get with just pins!

Simply slip the wire through the edges of your lace project and place pins along the inside of the wires to hold them in place while the lace dries. If you have scalloped edges you will want to slip the wire through the outer edges of your scallops to emphasize them.

Follow the same rules as pin or string blocking by measuring the radius of your finished piece as you adjust the wires.

Kit contains the following:
12 rigid 36" stainless steel wires,
2 flexible 24" stainless steel wires,
20 rust-proof nickel-plated T-pins,
yardstick
complete blocking instructions in a sturdy storage tube.

The first time you use your blocking wires, wipe them with a soft cloth to remove any possible manufacturing residue.
