Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend

Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend yarn is a beautiful double knit yarn that is alight with colour and knits so well. Manos Silk Blend yarn is a luxurious blend of merino and silk. Hand dyed in large kettles to create a marbleized, subtly striated effect that forms a rich palette of glorious colors.

All of the Manos yarns are hand dyed and therefore do not have dye lots. Each skein is different. If there is a difference between skeins, we recommend knitting two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

Manos Del Uruguay yarns are made using natural fibres sourced in South America and Manos yarn is dyed by a cooperative of women in the rural villages of Uruguay. This cooperative provides much needed income to approximately 350 women working in 17 locations.
