Knits inspired by the traditions of Scandinavia and the Shetlands have always been popular and at the moment reflect a top fashion trend. This workshop will give you an insight into the history; the yarns and the colours that characterise this style of knitting.
We will work on practice pieces and consolidate the techniques used - chart work, colour work, twisted knitting, working in the round and steeks and give you the confidence to create your own nordic knit!
Suitable for adventurous beginners and intermediate knitters.
